Naval Historical Education Foundation - Overview Specializing in presenting audiences with historical "moments-in-time" in all their glory, the Naval Historical Education Foundation is dedicated to bringing Naval Historical Educationto life. Founded in 1998, the goal of the N.H.E.F. is to preserve our rich maritime heritage through dynamic and historically accurate re-creations of significant nautical events. These carefully choreographed re-enactments are true to detail in context, costuming and action. Utilizing a talented crew of preformers and exact replicas including, Jolly Boats, Military Uniforms, Flintlock Pistols, Swords and Cannons, these sensational performances are sure to captivate and delight audiences of all ages while preserving the integrity of the historical event portrayed. The Naval Historical Education Foundation works directly with the hosting facility to design a custom program that is not only an extraordinary representation, but is also appropriate for the special event.
